I lost both my parents (Dad in 84, Mum in 97) Still miss em, especially me Mum : - (( They are probably up in that great gig in the sky having a ball mate. I'd like to think so anyway even if I ain't religious.

hey mark your mother was so pretty,i got a call last night at 2 am from my mother and my uncle warren went in to check on my grandpa he was slumped over in his chair they tryed too revive him but he passed,,so sad my grandmother is going too be devistated!!

My heart to yours. Remembering is hard sometimes, its an interlacing of fondness and grief. While a poor substitute for their actual presence, like I tell the little kids I work with, your memories are just as real as they were! You honor them by remembering,feeling, and going on when your ready to.

know what you are going through mate - my mum and dad both died during the christmas/new year week, Mum when I was 14 & Dad when I was 22 - I'm about your age now so it's a long time back but sometimes the christmas period can still get me down, a lot of the time I don't even notice it happening but my friends and my good lady do.
I agree with Longy - try and have a good time with those around you now - don't let the past haunt you too much
