Not the greatest quality pics.
But here's some from today in the backyard.

The bird pictured above is an Anhinga or commonly called Snake Bird.

The above 2 pics are of a Hawk that swooped down, grabbed an Iguana, flew up in a nearby tree and was feasting on it.It was nice to see him helping with my Iguana problem :)
.
There was also a brood of Racoons (about 5 of them) up in the tree next to the Hawk but I couldn't get a decent shot of them.I didn't really feel like getting rabies shots today.
.
Just thought I'd share/bore you with that lol

Very Cool Mark! Snake Cranes are a pretty rare sight, aint they? Coons are pretty mean? I thought you could just go up and pet them? lol. Just saying that cause the sewer coon conga line I made the mistake of interfering with. It was a BIG Mother (literal) with all her babies about four to five. I saw them walking about a half a block away from the sewer hole and thought it'd be a good idea to Frisbee slice of bread their way. I think you know what happened after that. lets just say you're right about rabies shots thing. I barely made it to my friends house and shut the door behind me. They growl ugly man. Thanks for the cool nature...Much love your way>RG

Anhingas are fairly common in Florida. Those fuckers can swim. I did a book report on them when I was in the 2nd grade.
