My Everglades

So I took some pictures today when I went for a walk in the Everglades
This area I went is about 2-3 miles away.A 5/10 minute drive.
If you ever wanted to off someone this would be the place lol.
No one around. There's a park on one side & the bare Everglades on the other.
Full off sawgrass that would cut you to the bone if you dared walk through it.
Most folks traveling in this environment use Airboats.

So now you can see a better idea of my surroundings :)
I Love nature.

I make Wallpaper for my computer from these pics.Maybe you'd like them too .Quality pics...

Move!
Youre welcome here.
I'll be glad to show you around.
Job's around here are ok.
Land is cheaper than the east side (closer to the ocean).
I work the east side.20 minute drive.
Florida is a funny place because you can get to really crazy wild areas in not to long of a time from any point. It's a peninsula,we live almost at the tip :)
Tonight it's 20.11 Celsius

I beat feet for these pics and am depressed how little care anyone took to see them.
What a let down...

Hey my Brother,
Don't be down, I really miss seein' the glades. Hell, I was only there for a brief time, but in that short time was eternally hooked. Those pictures are awesome depictions of unspoiled nature. I mean, places where the land and animals rule are great! To think that if most of us were barefoot, gunless, etc., that we would definitely not make the learning curve! When I see those pictures I also think of the Gun Clubs songs.
I really could just live in the/around the glades and love it. Thanks for reminding/sharing these cool snapshots of tranquility :)
P.S. I would keep CJ on my shoulder, cause he squawks at the best times hahaha>RG

Great pics... it looks a bit like where I live only greener, flatter and obviously warmer! It's about nearly minus degrees here tonight... Three cheers for central heating!! Pictures are interesting, post more, in fact post what the fuck you like remember it's your blog, your space to express yourself in whatever way you see fit. Some of your visitors obviously don't have brain cells... If all they can think about is punk-punk-punk (or hate-hate-hate) and not be interested in the bits of you or your life you choose to share with us that's their problem.

Ahhh, I remember those swamps. Driving through them to the Hollywood Sportatorium to see Maiden. Going out there to shoot guns at cans. Th' Glades, man, Th' Glades.

I need to take some pictures of where I live. In the Mojave Desert near Nevada in California. A lot of really cool canyons and other awesome spots. There is a lot of locals here that never get outside of town their whole lives. Amazes me how people don't realize the cool shit right in front of their faces.

Yeah, I'd jump at the chance to move to (any) warmer climate for sure...

hey mark nice pics i bet it gets super humid there and very cold at night

Nish said...

It's not too bad this time of season. Not too humid.
Most of the time it is however.
Usually like 99%.
Cool at night because of the time of year, but again..most of the year is downright boiling out.

I hate the heat.I wouldn't be able to live here without air conditioning.

Vulch, you come from a really interesting part of the country.
I'd love to see some pics of those canyons.
Here in South Florida there are no Mountains...not even a bump lol.
The only mountains/hills we have are the garbage dumps ;)

This time of the year it gets cold here and hopefully we'll get some good rain, it brings out the color in the basins and canyons. I'll be posting some desert shots here soon mark. And there is suprisingly some cool fishing spots out here. I love fishing!
