Ich bin auch kein Anhänger von Patriotismus. Viele Kriege wurden wohl aus diesem Grunde geführt, da gibt es keinen Zweifel.Stolz kann man ja auch nur auf etwas sein was man selbst geschaffen oder geleistet hat :-). Nebenbei bemerkt sind Vokabeln wie Stolz für mich nur Phrasen und Worthülsen.
Wenn der Patriotismus allerdings im Rahmen bleibt und nicht zu einer "Wir sind besser als..." Mentalität führt, dann sollte das doch jeder für sich selbst entscheiden können.
Die Herbärds haben meines Wissens nach nichts mit Nazis zu schaffen. Sollte ich mich allerdings irren, dann wäre ich für handfeste Beweise dankbar.

Die Herbärds waren eine der ersten OI!Bands überhaupt in Deutschland und haben rein gar nix mit dem ganzen scheiss Faschodreck zu tun gehabt Und wer behauptet diese Platte sei Nazi-Musik hat keine Ahnung wovon er spricht und sollte sich mal die beiden anderen Scheiben der Herbärds anhören!

I vote in leftist parties or nule vote in my country, but I believe in read and hear books, sites, newspapers, movies and something about right extremists to informations objectives, not an political sympathizer. If you are against an regime, political or religious movements, you should research the other side! And see: I vote in socialists on Brazil! But, I don´t have passions for the right/conservative/burgeois views. Only study my oppositions.
So, post an nazi band, if you´re not an NS guy, for me, you´re not a nazi or a propagandist.

Wrong band to post bullshit! The Herbärds were definitely NOT on the nationalistwhatsoever bill. They were an OI-band and shared the stages in the same dirty rotten punk-venues with their mates from Normahl and Triebtäter. Frank, I know were you're coming at and I admire that you have put a lot of thought into this but seriously, attacking this blog isn't going to solve your nazi problem. You need to go address the problem directly to the real nazis. Here in the US, we don't have a problem. If anything it's so small scale that it's not a threat. I'm guessing you're in Germany, correct? You're better off spending your time focusing the issue at hand. Find the real cause of this hate movement and try to dispell it locally. Punk this, punk that - at the end of the day, who really cares? The movement has been dead since the mid-80's as far as I'm concern.

I hate Nazi posting and the cover artwork and maybe the lyrics from this herbärds LP wasn´t very intelligent and lean on the attemption to import the british oi touch to germany. But Herbärds weren´t a white power/nazi band, they play basic oi with basic, simple lyrics, no rascist/fascist stuff but stupid patriotic. I don´t like it.

WTF is wrong with people? I actually went out and looked for lyrics from Herbärds. I found exactly 8 songs in the whole Internet, and not one of the songs (I speak fluent German) has even the slightest touch of Antisemitism. I don't know who Herbärds are since the info on the web is scarce, so I can't make a judgement. They are not listed in the German governments list of Rechtsradikale (rightwing extremist) Bands. Funny all these others who know a Nazi from a German punk... Anti-German sentiments? Not sure. Maybe Herbärds are Nazis, or NPD, or maybe they are even Linke (leftwing extremists) and like burning cars and attacking policemen. Who knows? All these people who are so sure one way or the other make me very nervous!!!

Hi Mark, sorry to hijack your blog like that, but I had to tell us Germans to stop bashing ourselves and start being proud of who we are and what we've accomplished. There's nothing wrong with loving your home. My grandparents fought against the Nazis in Europe, now I live in Germany. It's a wonderful place with warm and friendly people. Some are crazy, but no worse than anywhere else. I wish this whole stupidity (from both radical sides) could someday stop.
Its ok, knuckleheads get bored and need a place to run their mouths, and since my boy is so considerate, he gives them a podium, but im here now and im very entertained already, so let the good times roll. Speaking of good times, its probably the fact that someone who has a bald head, or listens to oi music has probably beat some of these people up before, hence the bitter attitude toward anything that seems similar. I always wondered if these types were as passionate when they see someone on the street, I wonder if they cry to them, or if they are skiddish because running your mouth to a scrapper on the streets aint so bright. Whatever the case is, I want them to know I love them, you guys are awesome, I hope you continue to get annoyed about what others are doing, posting, blogging, or whatever, because your just as comical as any nazi ive ever met, cept you cry more, lol.
