Great post MArk.great record this one..didnt like it at first, felt it was way too "rock" sounding but totally grown on me over the years. Best trax for me are Politician..and Police Related Death (damn that song sends shivers up my spine everytime i hear it) As always keep up the good work.
When i first this album (Police Related Death) on the radio and i didn't knew it was MDC i was like, "whoa! who the hell are these?" When the DJ said MDC i was struck. I bought the album three times and it is still one of the best albums ever.
With all the mess surrounding certain post down here I forgot to say thanks for this one (which I've never heard) and "Smoke signals'', a dopey album that was surely a letdown but is interesting anyway. A friend of mine had the hippey album and I remember listening to it at his home, so it's good for me for evoking old times and all that. Thanks a lot for the couple! Of course the best MDC will ever be the ones from the 1st LP and the first 3 singles.
Great Album, nice guitar playing and abolutely critically in a political point of vew. This record shouldn't be missing in any CD collection of people who care about good music with lots of messages to transmit. Nothing for casted assholes and their fans.

This one for you ClassicMusic20. I know you want trendy Yacht Rock for your radio but calling soft Christian rock by that genre just to get me to buy something won't work and never putting a penny of your own money for anything while using pressure buy to make me buy the last one on Discogs is lame for lame music my Goodwill steals are Sanctified.as R.L. Burnside used to say live.

This is a hell of a lot more consistent than "Smoke Signals" but still can't compare to their classic first LP.
