I've had all of them through the years.Persecution Mania I'd like to have back...That was a good SODOM album.
I traded and/or sold them all over the years...the only metal albums I kept were by SLAYER, SACRED REICH, VENOM, GOREFEST and KREATOR. I had SODOM´s 3x live 12" with the later censored cover and the incredible drum solo! sold that way to cheap!
Kreator - Endless Pain was what introduced me to metal.
I was sent a pre-release copy by a distributor (Important Records),the guy on the phone I bought my records from told me they were releasing this album in the states and he wanted to know "as a hardcore guy"...what I thought of it.
Needless to say...It changed my perception of whats realy HARDCORE.
thats how the story goes:it was mid/late 80's, 1987 or 88 and in greek edition of Metal Hammer mag there was a column about Underground Metal, in other words new metal bands with no contract in major label or were just in obscure independent labels of had just put out a demo... there was an article about some dudes who had changed name from Xecutioner to Obituary, some guys maned Pariah and others.
There was this band called Rumble Militia, a trio with a german a greek and a turkish member. and when the questions of interview led the discussion about fascism in metal they said about Sodom being fascist and the original title of Bombenhagel or Ausgebombt (I dont remember exactly which one was)was Turken raus...

i liked early Sodom,i dont know if they were nazis,never checked their lyrics,i just think they were somehow warlust scums because of the repulsion of war scenes.
anyway, Mark i thibk you should post their demos insead of these old shits (good too)
there´s even a movie about KREATOR called THRASH IN ESSEN (ESSEN = their hometown)
Hacki of RUMBLE MILITIA now runs a security firm in Bremen! this Türken Raus/Bombenhagel story happened during a radio interview that was done by Hacki if I remeber correct. SODOM claimed that they were drunken and made some stupid jokes for which they tried to apologize but the RUMBLE MILITIA guys told´em FUCK YOU! this was the reason I sold my SODOM records. anyway Bombenhagel (or Ausgebombt) has Germanys national anthem as a middle part!

i like how in one of sodom's lyrics (can't remember wich tune is) the dude talks about "make love for satan" or something..
