Adam Yauch aka MCA of the Beastie Boys died today of cancer. I think this 45" was probably one of the best things they ever released next to "licensed to Ill." I have to admit that after that I kind of lost interest in the band, but I always appreciated their punk rock roots.
Rest in Peace!!!

Loved their early punkstuff but Ill Communication was by far one of the greatest albums in whatever genre it belongs. Loved 'em
Can't believe he passed on. MCA was the first in the crew while MTV filmed us for Spring Break 1986 on a college trip from Univ. of MN with a bus but yeah he saw my Bad Brains shirt with the lightning strike on the Capitol, was curious about who I was and where I had got it. Yeah, I've got 'em all.
