COLLECTOR'S CHOICE: Last post of the G's for this series with below and a fine steering back into German Krautrock per the Discogs: German Krautrock band formed in 1968 by former The Irene Schweizer Trio musicians Mani Neumeier (drums) and Uli Trepte (bass) as Guru Guru Groove in Heidelberg.
They started as a political and satirical Rock band and quickly had contacts with other contemporary bands as Amon Düül and Tangerine Dream. After they first only wanted to perform live, they recorded their debut album in 1970. Starting with the follow-up album in 1971, they had a cooperation with producer Conny Plank. In the time after, the line-up changed many times, but the band stayed active until the 2020's
