HOMESTEAD HEROES SERIES:  Yes, have seen them at First Ave a few times and always great!  First heard them on the fourth SST instore play device tape sampler I have posted with their version of 'Show Me The Way" and also dig the 'Whatever's Cool With Me" having Quicksand but they have many hits and quite a big file here with my gathering of all I had in the old DU back files.  Per Discogs:    Indie rock band formed in 1983 after the breakup of the hardcore band Deep Wound, of which Lou Barlow and J Mascis were members.

The band was originally named Dinosaur, but immediately following the release of You're Living All Over Me (1987), a supergroup called the Dinosaurs sued them over the use of that name, prompting the addition of "Jr."

Following the 2005 reissue of the first three Dinosaur Jr. albums (Dinosaur, You're Living All Over Me and Bug), the original lineup of J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph reformed to tour with that material. They also returned to the studio to record and release new material.
