I enjoyed this album on first listen even though I generally shy away from hair metal rock. I added a song by one of his side projects: Funky Farmer All Star Cowboy Band that I luckily taped off the radio and had put on one of my viacomcmd mixes. Check it out! They feature Johnny, Gary Rossington, Billy Powell, Dale Krantz Rossington, Floyd Ca--well, Bonny Bramlett and Friends Of Lynyrd Skynyrd!!!! Per Discogs: Johnny Van Zant was born February 27, 1959, in Jacksonville, Florida. Is an American Southern rock vocalist. He is the youngest brother of late Lynyrd Skynyrd founder and vocalist Ronnie Van Zant and 38 Special founder and vocalist Donnie Van Zant and cousin of Jimmie Van Zant. He has been the lead vocalist of Lynyrd Skynyrd since its reformation in 1987.
