I would love it if you would repost this excellent Robert Gordon post. I was sad to hear of his passing. He was one of the greats. Thanks for all that you do on this wonderful blog and God bless you for keeping the music alive. :)

When I made the request, I had just heard the sad news myself, and remembered how much I absolutely loved his "Rock Billy Boogie" album when I was in high school in 1979.This post is the ultimate Robert Gordon collection.
