IAN LLOYD and STORIES - st LP 73 w Travelling Underground LP 73 w st CD 72 w Ian Lloyd - st CD 76 w Goose Bumps CD 79 w 3WC CD 80 w Planet X CD 97

REPOST Request:  Per Diana Brill's comment we are still looking for a copy of the album with the 'Brother Louie' song at the end that has a special 'dialog' added to it which was redacted on first press.  What I wrote before:  Well yes the first post I did had that hit 'Brother Louie" but now this other album of theirs from same year has the even cooler hit song I remember from old K-tel compilation albums called Mammy Blue!  The whole album has cool trippy music too.  I posted the related band the Beckies a while back.  Also don't forget Ian's later band FAST FORWARD posted at DU.

The original release of Brother Louie included a couple of brief spoken word bits: The white father saying "No Spook in the family!" and the black father saying "No Honk in the family!"

Apparently that was a bit much for /someone/ involved in promotion and radio play, and this version of the single vanished down the memory hole. I heard it on KACY, the dominant rock-format AM station in Los Angeles, circa 1972.

Once again I am waiting to see if an uploaded album has the /original/ version... which ain't likely.
