Guitar Journeyman music I call it ala Al Dimeola "Race With Devil On Spanish Highway" that won my ears over as a youth from a record my brother let keep for awhile. I don't think the other similar genres like Kenny G Jazz or anything but hard jazz in the 70's worked so well in instrumental music except the quarky keyboard/synthesizer stuff that got bigger in the 80's and 90's later on.
