Keeping up with my bloggin' brother Nathan Nothin who is doing not one but two March Madness themes I thought I would do some upkeep on some of my favorite bands from the old days who happened to be from Boston. What got me into this idea was a request two weeks ago for one of my core Paisley Underground faves from LB so I will make that a VIACOMCMD TOP V NEO PAISLEY group of posts and so then got to the sorting and this came of it....a fun thing over the weekend when all Sports Are GO!!!! In doing this post boy O' boy did I need to do it as all posts were expired (I guess my Bestfiles started the undelete option on files when I found the pull down menu around late 2024 and lots of the MEGA links have expired from when I had like a dozen yahoo email accounts in order to get each MEGA account to the 20 Gb free maximum so had equal number of MEGA accounts as well. ReplyDeleteThe one that got me was missing The Dogmatics as my sister was a bit of a roadie attachment for singer Jerry Lehaine (sp??) but yes Boston Not L.A. comp came up forgot that I separated out punk for later post but hey regional NY CT VA bands like Woofing Cookies were also on heavy rotation in my high school best buds share music circle or M-80s Bug Bang 7 inch WoW I am in study of ithat group and outreaches to Electroflux and The Sterics while one member of the M-80’s went to Roger C. Reale the drummer thanks for your comment and always make Twilight Zone or TZers I see there like you so yeah SSD is in the list like ooops I bet I missed The Proletarat my number one DEMO of all time! Along with False Confessions and list gies on. I rest my point. V

and since i don't have a computer i can't check them. I do some of them though and i only find them mediocre.
My favorite Boston bands are:
Real Kids, Mission of Burma, Robin Lane & the Chartbusters, Lyres, Someone & Somebodies, La Peste, Human Sexual Response etc...i've also incl. material seceral of the bands live !! In addition i have 2 × 90 min cassettes - excellent! - with extremely rare Boston material
