SPOONER - Cruel School EP 79 w 7 80 w Every Corner Dance LP 82 w Wildest Dream 85 w 7 j86

REPOST and ADD ON:  I may have upgraded my old vinyl rips of the first two albums as I brought file home already but if labeled "LP" instead of "CD' it would be shown on each song title.  Brought this one back myself since Butch Vig just posted on META about their big reunion show in Mad Town.  Great power pop band!

    thanks for these!
i picked up 'the fugitive dance'(1990)in a cut-out bin years ago. GREAT little spooner album.
of course you have to bill them as doug (now 'duke', ha-ha) erikson's band too.
i mean he IS famous as the mastermind (and guitarist) of that little old scottish band named garbage, isn't he?
well, so's butch vig (in a drummer-producer category).
so how do you know a wisconsin band like these guys?
    thanks again!

Actually homeboy at the record show pulled that one out along with the Oil Tasters who are a killer 'Scony band ala Violent Femmes. Someone already posted all their stuff here: http://wisconsinmusicblog.blogspot.com/2008/10/oil-tasters-self-titled-album-1982-get.html
download 'em and be vindicated! I'm a Minnesota homeboy--I once heard Die Kreuzen thru the First Ave. wall then finally snuck in to see Motorhead in high school b4 I got a better fake ID to work...

  2. FYI: Between Wildest Dreams and Fugitive Dance Butch Vig and Doug Erikson recorded two albums as Fire Town.
