REPOST Request: What I wrote before: Kind of got into a POCO buying frenzy after getting about a third of these at the dollar sale and the rest for about $5 a piece which I wasn't going to do thinking they got worse with age but simply not the case here. Luckily the first three were from a blog doing the rip well enough so I could use them which I wouldn't normally do for high star Wiki rated albums like the first three. Other high ratings were 'Crazy Eyes', 'Head Over Heels and ''A Good Feelin' To Know' a little lower. Later ones were all three star except for 'Cowboys..." which was a low two but when you in a POCO the horse mood they all sound pretty good.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE THIS BAND. People used to make fun of me when I was in high school for listening to "grandma music," but I've always loved their songs. I mean, come on, these guys are classic musicians! Richie Furay, Jim Messina, Randy Meisner .... anyone who can turn their noses up at that kind of rock pedigree can just F*CK RIGHT OFF. This music is GREAT.
I'm a big fan of Richie Furay's solo work, too -- "I Still Have Dreams" is one of my all-time favorite songs.
