The Velvet Underground - VU LP 84 w Another View LP 86 w and NICO LP 66 w White Light/White Heat LP 68 w st CD 69 w Loaded LP 70 w Once Upon A Time 2LP 73

Have had most of these on cassette vinyl rips for awhile and been wanting to hear them again.  Had to fill in for some missing but got the core of what I wanted and the 73 double album is an excellent source of bonus material except for the 'Countess From Hong Kong' I got from another blog.  There is a blog out there with all the CD extra releases you could search for that but most of those CD rips seem too tinsely to me and I wanted louder jamming stuff like I taped long ago on my buddies good stereo in high school while he practiced his bass--had to take out some pops from his needle drops on difficult bass songs while he figured it out but that was only that one song from the first album that Lou wouldn't play anymore while he was alive.  I skipped the bootleg 7's I had posted before.  A short catch-up week.

I have been remiss on not having a copy of Another View. Thanks for remedying the situation!

You may not know this but the vinyl LP "VU" (ie. the first one pictured) has a slight difference on "I Can't Stand It". The LP has a twiddley guitar part on the intro that was missing from all CD releases.

DU
I love the Velvet Underground, an under-rated experimental band with pop roots.
Brian Eno stated that while their debut album only sold approximately 30,000 copies in its first five years, "everyone who bought one of those 30,000 copies started a band"

Here are The Quine Tapes
Live recordings, Not studio quality
Hope you all enjoy!!
