ReplyDeleteI thought the movie started out pretty good, but got crappy about half-way through. Still a great soundtrack though.
ReplyDeleteCheck out the director's other movie, Electric Dragon 80000V. It's a bit better, and really fucking "out there." That has a decent soundtrack, too, all done by Mach 1.67
An absolute gem in all regards. "Battle Rockers" was a band created just for the film and featured members of Th eRockers and The Roosters. Ishii Sogo has directed tons of amazing films, my personal favorite being "CRAZY THUNDER ROAD". Thanks so much for posting this!
