ACAB is the Skinhead and OI band before..when there so much controversy at malaysia and that genre cant go so far.and malaysia goverment ban skinhead here.
its use to be be All cop Are bastard(A.C.A.B) with OI/street Rock/Skinhead genre (1994-2003)
and now they change to The A.C.A.B / D` A.C.A.B i didnt remember what the new name mean for the acab..its sound more mainstream.. With music heavily influenced by the British indie rock and post-punk revival scene.in 2006 drawing old as well as new fans to their new direction in music.
They were recognized as The Godfathers of streetpunk and oi! and inspired the birth of ska in Malaysia.and they are legend.
I checked their myspace it doesn't sound like Oi at all but more like 90s Britpop. Obviously they've changed their sound a lot over the years.
