i vaguely remember a few articles on this band about the time this album came out, but never actually found it to purchase. Thanks for the share. For some reason, I expect this album to sound like the band in the Joan Jett/Michael J. Fox movie "Light of Day"

Son, Iron City is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Not fucking Cleveland, Ohio. Gawd. Oh - the record is terrible too. Have Nice Day.

Everybody needs to give "Have a Good Time..." a decent chance - definitely an underrated minor masterpiece!

Any chance for a new link on this? Getting a bad link message.

There guys were all over WDVE (the local Pittsburgh rock station) in the early 80's. Would love to hear this again. Unfortunately, the GoFile download link just spins and spins...any chance you could upload to another fileserver?

Thanks...

Thanks much! I grew up in the Philadelphia area, and as a teenager in the late 70s, i'd always HEARD of the band, but not actually heard them, but Pittsburgh is pretty dang far from Philly, on the other side of the state!!! However, my future wife, here in MA-outside Boston-heard 'Junior's Bar' a lot on the radio at the time, 79-80, not remembering who did the song.......probed her memory, looked it up, and yeah, it was the Iron City Houserockers!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for re-posting on MEGA...worked like a charm! Look forward to hearing this.

And for anyone who cares..."Have A Good Time But Get Out Alive" has apparently been reissued as a 2CD set, featuring a bonus disc of demos. Don't know too much about it, but it is available on Amazon.

Cheers...
