Couldn't figure out how to e-mail you directly, but seeing this Record reminded me me that I had seen her live at The Bottom Line in NYC.
I was a music journalist starting very young and saw a lot of amazing performers over the years, but couldn't make a career out of it.
I appreciate the wide range of music you post and have filled in a lot of my lp collection on your blog. I flipped when I saw the Hello People (who I saw twice) so I love to check in here.
Two things still out of reach, both on major labels with something of a pedigree, Sort of surprised they aren't available.
Quacky Duck & His Barnyard Friends - Media Push on WB that included David Mansfield
and 2 of Tony Bennet's sons (saw them at Max's Kansas City & the Bottom Line)
and
Court Pickett - Fancy Dancer on Elektra He was half of Sailcat that had a hit with Motorcycle Mama and the record has amazing production and the cream of the crop of session players.
