REPOST Request:  Their 'mission statement' on the back cover of Fusion:  "What we wanted was to grow and create and be something more than each of us could be so we became us and we took the things we knew and felt like jazz and folk and poetry and blues and even longhair and theatre and mime and sometimes ragtime and most of all rock and added in a few signs that a girl we know painted and spent a thousand hours in the woodshed and now we're The Hello People and soon we'll be even more The Hello People and this is our second album.  It's called Fusion......."

first heard of Hello People because of the Todd Rundgren connection - I believe I downloaded the first album from your blog a while back. But the zippy links for the other albums you've posted by them are expired...so sad.

the band is Hello People, the album is Bricks - Hello People performed in mime - they were a backup band for Todd Rundgren for a while. They survived for quite a while in the late 60s/early 70's actually. Never anything breakout, but usually something interesting in their albums
