Yes, but unfortunately when I went to rip it last fall discovered that it was too warped to use..."Janie, yo...ong..." if you know what I mean. Thanks for this one, which I also have on vinyl and which had a skip on my version. Great little Edmonton, Alberta group, not Australian. Donald

Thanks Donald, I didn't know that. Check out vinyl addiction group on facebook and look up "warp removal" and I bet you could fix that old platter in the oven. In fact, I did see a thread about that there. Otherwise it's 'rough ridin' for that cartridge and no finer riding cartridge has been made for that purpose than my Ortofon S-120...and I have read that in print. Would like to try their Archiv package for ripping vinyl someday.

I don't recall seeing this note previously. No, I've never tried fixing a warp via the oven. what I might be tempted to do is pick up a copy next time I see it for a realistic price- was once $2.oo in bins, now often seen for $30+. But if I can locate a copy for five or seven, and can do a decent rip, I will. Donald

Donald - That's the spirit AWESOME! Let me know if you need freeware rip software, instructions for PC, $20 preamp and $5.95 RCA red and white jack to single black prong to sound card line in jack (keep volume on line in to 40% then record to just flickering the red zone.
