Hey, so you never answered my question :)

I'd still like to know what that incorrect track was. like what band. do you remember?

Lyrics (from what I can hear) -

Shut the door something, something.
close your eyes and wake up screaming.
colours dancing on the wall.
Close your eyes and wake up dreaming.

I feeling the motor running....

Dude, I didn't answer your question because your not helping me any. I just listened to a few bits a pieces of songs I posted that day--I believe you downloaded the file on June 21 2016 but it could have been reposted--of every band in that same weeks rips which are18 not counting all in the comp with no match of your limited half brain lyrical input. What I'm getting at is male or female singer? Good guess at song title?? Type of music techno soft guitar 90s 80s??? Please help me help you into treatment. When I caught the error I made the titles right right away that week and there is no trace and blogger doesn't keep old data like when I first posted the file as I usually erase with repost but there are two listings for the Phil post so maybe June 21 is correct date. You could do the same you know of searching date and checking the eighteen bands posted. Help me help. You

Ok sorry man, If you don't recognise the lyrics I've sent then I don't think we'll be able to find it. I already searched what was posted in that week and no luck. I'm not sure what era it would be, 80s or 90s possibly. Male singer, American? pretty dramatic vocal delivery, he hits some really high notes. Song starts off with just piano, pretty sombre, sparse. Then groovy bass line and then he sings those line. Then drums kick in and It gets pretty rockin. There is some wirly synth through out the song and also a flangey distorted guitar solo near the end. Genre, I would just say pop rock, kinda hard to define.

I'll see if there is a date on the MP3 later..
