Leaving the ship.

Since i have my hands full with my own bloggs about punk, movies and whatnot i have decided not to be a part of Down Underground any more. With the recent events of Megaupload and Rapidshare being put under US federal surveallance i dont find any reason to upload an album just for it to be deleted by "the man" two weeks later.
I will still be a follower of the blogg and hope the rest of you posters keep up the work that i'm to tired to do any more (plus summer is approaching).
Sweden out.

Remember I gave you an option to join Archive.org with your music--the end result of bloggers everywhere toil. They will store permanently with their 'rotating' storage scheme and convert to .VBR and mail you the links. This website is the ONLY reason I kept with it as, like IDO I just wanted them for my car and only wanted to get thru my record stack in the closet I hadn't listened to since college! Much smaller then and all hardcore--most other bloggers posted my stuff saving me a rip and I always thought that was cool--punk like Descendents, Dead Kennedy's, Dead Milkmen, etc. but stupidly, in that dumb spirit, I sold the goodies and just got into other cheap records at the monthly shows and made a cool journey nonetheless with new music to me and discoveries for others (but I couldn't keep up with ANY of our other members posts like you and Jay or even the guys that got me here punknotprofit but on occasion). I wish you all the best.

Sorry to read that you are leaving Bernando. If it wasn't for you I doubt I'd be contributing to this blog, Just want to say thanks for everything and I'll stay in touch. If I ever find the Subway Thugs/Infiltrators split, you'll be the first to know.

Cheers,

Brian Guy

About that Subway Thugs / Infiltrators split EP, I don't think it really exists, you see, years ago I ordered that EP from a distro, or at least that's what I thought I did, when it arrived it turned out to be just an Subway Thugs picture EP with an insert with the S.T. lyrics on one side, and a picture of the Infiltrators plus an add for their CD on the other side, by the way this EP was released by Oink! Records (Oink! 009) in 1999, and I remember seeing this EP being sold as a Split EP between the two bands in other distros as well.
