Elmer - Hillbilly Punk ep

More cowpunk. Please note that on "Sinners Song" there is a really screwed up ending, something went wrong with my ripping programme and I just noticed it. Other than that everything else is okay. There are a lot of Jesus type references in this ep, but this band is not some Jesus punk band, because quite frankly if it was, I wouldn't own it no offence, but punk and religion don't mix, if I want to listen to gospel I'll break out my Jim & Jesse or Osborne Brothers albums.

Elmer was originally from Corvalis, Oregon but later moved to Portland, Oregon.

Released on On Plop Flop Records in 1996.

Enjoy,

Brian Guy

Hey Bri-Guy,
Just wanted to say 'thanks' for a lot of the recent posts and yeah I agree with you about keeping them separate--religion and creative music. Would love to hear what you referenced tho'...you may not have known this as you're kind of the new guy around here that my favorite like what I listened to today and posted for a facebook tour for my twelve (had to count 'em off there, good thing going barefoot more or less lately so I COULD have used the those too) nieces and nephews to read someday about their uncle but yeah the vocalist crooner groups like Bernando, TSOL, The Dark, Herman Brood, etc. but vocalists with different approaches like I've been finding at Spanish Bombs blog and BOMBS WITHOUT TIMER blog's awesome post of the GUILTY RAZORS.
